Hold On Tight

Hold On Tight

Hold on Tight!!!

“It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23

It’s another wonderful day. This is your day. You will succeed. As you read this exhortation it stands as testimony for your success. I stand to let you know that your wildest dream can still come to pass. The psalmist says to

“Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart Psalm.37v4. Isaiah 58:14 says “Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it”

Get into fellowship with Him for the ultimate. You may have been discouraged, given up hope. But dear friend, the fact that you are reading this means there is still hope for you. “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24 there is power in praise. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

God is still on the throne. He will make it beautiful at His own time. Hold on for your miracle is on the way. That statement is not just a cliché, He is always on time. The fulfillment of your heart desire is worth waiting for, no matter how difficult the situation may be now.

The doors may have been shut against you. Doctors say it’s too late. The bank is closing in on you. The landlord won’t stop until your properties are littered on the street. Everywhere you turn the doors all appear to be shut against you. There is palpable fear. It is not imagined. Everything points to that fact, but wait, isn’t it darkest before dawn? Hallelujah!

Read up John 20, it was a desperately hopeless situation. The Lord has just been killed, the body was nowhere to be found and the lives of the disciples were in danger. But just then “came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you”. (John 20:26) mmmmmm my, my, my, my God! Let me dance a bit here. He is never late, He is always on time.

Do you remember the story of Lazarus who had been dead four days? When Jesus got there He said “roll the stone away” but Martha, the sister of Lazarus was appalled and said to Jesus “Lord, didn’t you hear what I said?” “by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.” (John 11:39) In other words, it’s too late. But “Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?” (John 11:40) Jesus simply said believe me and you will see a change. Do not bother how it will play out. You are not to understand it, just believe is the requirement. Long story short, the stone was removed and Lazarus was called back from the dead. The bandage they had used to wrap him was still a hindrance to him for he could not walk. So the Lord said …unto them, Loose him, and let him go.” (John 11:44) You will notice the Lord instructed the people toLoose him, and let him go.” In the same vein, whatever it is that is still tied to you and causing you to regress instead of progressing. By the authority in the name of Jesus, I command it broken right now, I loose you and set you free!.

Now check this out about the story of our Lord Jesus Christ. Hebrews. 12:2 says

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God”

Jesus saw the glory at the end of his suffering before Him and when the time

of pain came, He endured it and eventually experienced His glory. How could He

have done that?

Remember that the scripture says he was tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:16) He didn’t give up. If he had, you & I would never have had this wonderful relationship with Him.

My dear friends, no matter what you may be going through now, don’t give up, hang in there. Your miracle is on the way. The period of waiting, when everything seems terrible, is a period of “manufacturing” your request. It’s up to you to receive it. Don’t forget, your victory is not necessarily in the manifestation of your desires but in YOUR FAITH (1John 5:4)

What keeps a student reading and burning the midnight candle when others are sleeping and enjoying themselves? Answer, the joy and feeling of success and achievement.

What keeps a sprinter practicing & practicing in the early hours of the morning, every day before the race? It’s the joy of winning the competition.

What keeps the mother pushing & pushing at delivery of a baby in spite of the

pain and agony? The joy of a new life.

So dear friend, what will keep you pressing, praying, enduring, and hanging on?

It’s the joy of your desired expectation.

I employ you today, don’t give up; your miracle is just around the corner. Hold

on to the end! It’s never the end until it’s the end.

Shalom

Vince Ok.
