The Authorized Version (Which Bible?)

The Authorized Version (Which Bible?)

The Authorized Version (Which Bible?)

T.G.I.F., Lord I thank you for Grace, Wisdom, knowledge and Understanding, Amen, Hallelujah!

I want to deal with the issue of the bibles we have today. As the coming of the Lord draws closer, Satan is leaving no stone unturned to draw as many people as he can to hell. Being the lord and master of deception, he uses any means available to lure people into his destructive kingdom. He has to fulfill his three fold ministry “…to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…” John 10:10

With all impunity, he attacks the people of God including everyone and everything they hold dear directly and indirectly. He knows that shrines and voodoo are fast getting obsolete, he has re-strategized. He uses technology and very much in the church now, using the very same tool that points people to the Savior, The Bible.

Part of his strategy is to “catch them young”. Children’s Cartoon these days hardly run its full length without some form of magic, sorcery or unbelievable violence usually targeted at “saving mankind or the world” in general. Movies like Spider man, Superman, Thor and all these super hero movies are the culprits. They subtly present another savior to the child. If parents or guardians fall short of their responsibilities in introducing their children/ward to The Lord Jesus, there is a possibility the child will grow up with the notion that Jesus is not the only savior of the world. That is very dangerous.

For the adult that knows about the Lord, he presents another front to him. Switch the name Lucifer for “the morning star” a title the lord Jesus Himself announced in the book of Revelation 21:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”

In most of the new translations of the Bible the main verse of scripture that identifies Lucifer as Satan is removed. In Isaiah 14, verse 12 to be exact, it reads… It is written in Isaiah 14:12-14 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.”  The word LUCIFER can only be found here in the King James Version of the Bible only.

So I ask, why do most new Bible versions omit the name Lucifer from their texts? Simple! Many theologians erroneously believe that these passages are strictly addressed to the kings of Babylon and Tyrus. Their theories, however, are not based upon sound doctrine but upon faulty theology, as an examination of the original Hebrew text will reveal.

No thanks to the deceptively persuasive fabrications of that fallen angel, Lucifer. Many other translations that I have looked in have a substitution in place. We will get there in a minute.
We read in Ezekiel 28:12-15 “Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.”

The far reaching prophecies in Isaiah 14:12-14 and Ezekiel 28:12-15 contain a clear revelation of Satan’s origin.

Check this out. The prophet Ezekiel says of this evil creature, “Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God” (Ezekiel. 28:13). The king of Tyrus was never “in Eden the garden of God”. Ezekiel continues, “the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. (Ezekiel. 28:13). No human being was created after Adam and Eve. Humans are born, not created after Adam and Eve. The prophet Isaiah says of this evil being, “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer (Isaiah. 14:12). The king of Babylon was never in heaven. Jesus Christ said, “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.” (Luke 10:18). The apostle John said that “there was war in heaven…. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” (Revelation. 12:7, 9).

So we know by the scriptures that Isaiah 12 and Ezekiel 28 are not only speaking of natural human kings but of the evil spirit behind them, “the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience” (Ephesians. 2:2). The book of Job says, “And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.” (Job 1:7). The apostle Paul tells us that Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:14).

The scriptures plainly reveal that Satan, Lucifer, is a real evil spirit being, and not a ‘thought’ or ‘force’ in man’s mind. Some argue that the name “Lucifer” in the English KJV Bible was erroneously inserted into the text. However, English is not the only language to use the name “Lucifer”. Other ancient Bible translations, printed before the 1611 English Authorized Version (KJV), also use some form of “Lucifer”: “lucifere” (Czech); “Lucero” (Spanish); “Luceafar” (Romanian); et al.

The greatly profound prophecies we read above clearly goes far beyond any earthly ruler and harmonizes with the scriptural picture of Satan’s close relationship with world governments (Daniel. 10:13; Ephesians. 6:12; John 12:31). These passages picture Satan’s pre-fall splendor as well as his apostasy through pride and self-exaltation against God.  He has a consuming passion to be worshiped. He tried it with Jesus “…All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me” ( Matthew. 4:9;) and in heaven when he thought to himself… “I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High” (Isaiah. 14:14) (Revelation. 13:4-15; I Corinthians. 10:20). In his fall, Satan drew a vast number of lesser celestial creatures with him.” “As ‘the deceiver of the whole world’ (Revelation. 12:9), his primary method is that of deception, he plays mind games with people. I wrote extensively about him in my write up I titled “Lucifer” if you missed it you could request for it and I’d be glad to mail it to you.

So, what happened that the early Christians knew Lucifer as Satan, and that even Satanists themselves know Lucifer is Satan, but some modern “Christians” today say there is no Lucifer and that the title of “morning star”, a title the Lord Jesus Christ ascribed to himself in Revelation 22:16 “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star” is to be applied to Satan in Isaiah 14:12? Jesus is “…the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star” Revelation 22:16 NOT Lucifer

It all began at the time of the Reformation and the Enlightenment, when, like I told you in the last episode, Satan set up his “professionals” in high places and they began to question the veracity of the text of Scripture. New archaeological discoveries and information about Babylonian, Canaanite, Greek, and Mesopotamian religions were allowed to alter the meaning of the words of Scripture, a “new hermeneutics (the study of the methodological principles of interpretation of the Bible) as old as Genesis 3:1. The recent movement in “Christian churches” to place “the morning star” or “day star” in Isaiah 14:12 is not only ill founded on historical, spiritual, and exegetic grounds, (an explanation or critical interpretation of a text) but helps to set the stage for the spirit of the antichrist to fulfill Revelation 13:8 when “…all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”  Their target is the Lord Jesus Christ, their aim? It is to discredit and dislodge the veracity of His deity. But you and I know they can only try but cannot succeed “For we (they too) can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.” 2 Corinthians 13:8

These things you are going to read will shock you from your roots. It is a very well researched job done by one Jeff Johnson over a three year period. There are 20 scriptures selected because they contain vital Christian doctrine.

As we review each comparison, you will see a lot of subtle, doctrinal, ramificationsThose subtleties are easily overlooked when just casually reading through the Bible. But like I often say to you Study (the scriptures) to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

Let us compare the teaching in the Authorized King James Bible to a broad array of “modern versions”. The purpose is to note the versions’ effect on Christian doctrine. 20 verses, many of them familiar to you, are used in this comparison.

When I say ‘modern versions’, I am referring to all other ‘versions’ except the Authorized King James Bible. ‘Modern versions’ include: the NIV, the RSV, the NRSV, the NASV, the NKJV, the TEB, the LB, the AMP, etc. etc. I personally believe the NIV is the worse of them all. In Isaiah 54, Lucifer had five “I wills” in his descent to hell. “I will” just happen to be the official motto of the U.S. city Chicago, Illinois sporting zip code 60606.  In 1966, this same city hatched the New International Version of the Bible. I ask, is it a coincidence? Well, maybe so. The full NIV Bible was released in 1978. It underwent a minor revision in 1984. A planned 1997 edition was discontinued over inclusive language.

A revised edition titled Today’s New International Version (TNIV) a New Testament only was released in March 2002, with the complete Bible published February 2005 and a final one in 2011. (Wiki)

Now that you’re ready, let’s begin…

Bible Question #1: Daniel 3:25. Who saved Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the fiery furnace? These Hebrew boys have been thrown into the fiery furnace. You know the story. However, they are NOT alone! Another one (a fourth) is there to deliver them!

Let’s start off by looking at this verse in a ‘modern version’. (Notice: the wordings in each ‘modern version’ will differ slightly from all the others. But, those small differences, will not materially affect this report). Suffice it to say that, at the end of Daniel 3:25, a ‘modern’ version has a reading “similar to” the following: “… and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods …” “a” son of the (plural) gods? Who is that? What is His name? Notice how that reading is very vague and “non-descript”. But, look at this same verse in the King James Bible. The Authorized KJV Bible says: “… and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God“. i.e. Jesus Christ, very specific.

It was JESUS CHRIST, THE only begotten Son of God, who delivered Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Jesus saved them from the fiery furnace.

The Bible is clear: There is ONLY ONE SAVIOURThe LORD Jesus Christ, THE Son (capital S) of God (big G). Jesus is the ONLY one who saves from the fiery furnace, NOT “a” son of the (plural) gods (little g). Jesus saved in the past, He does it today, and He will save in the future, Hallelujah Amen!!!

Bible Question #2: Who was Jesus’ father?

The answer, of course, is that God was Jesus’ father. Let’s look in a ‘modern’ version of the Bible, at Luke 2:33. Starting from Luke 2:27 Simeon has gone into the temple to see the baby Jesus who is with Joseph and Mary. Again, depending on the particular ‘modern’ version, in verse 33, it will say something similar to: “… and his FATHER and mother were amazed at the things which were spoken of him” (i.e. father of Jesus) what do you mean “… and his father …” was amazed at the things which were spoken of him?Jesus’ father was NOT Joseph! JESUS’ FATHER WAS GOD!

Now, let’s look in the Authorized King James Bible. The KJV has the correct reading; in Luke 2:33 it says: “And JOSEPH and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him“.

For a ‘modern’ version (NIV, NASV, RSV etc.) to say Joseph was Jesus’ father is blasphemy! Think about the doctrinal implications: If Jesus had only an earthly father and mother then he is just any man. If he is just any man, then we are still in our sins. If we are still in our sins, then we are not saved! If we are not saved, then we have a big problem!

I told you above that the reason I picked out these scriptures is because they affect the basic fundamentals and doctrines of our faith.

Before I go to the 3rd Bible question, I want us to see Isaiah 14: 12

Satan’s primary ambition is to be “like the most High” Isaiah 14:14 to be worshiped. He uses every devious way and means to get there. These ‘modern’ translations sweep away that reality of him wanting worship and present him transparently innocent. It was a mission accomplished. He had to engineer his “professionals” to find a way to remove the name “Lucifer” Isaiah 14:12 from such an unflattering context of “like the most High” Isaiah 14:14 in other words, it has nothing to do with his person. The feat is accomplished in most of the new bible versions; check out these versions. The KJV remains uncorrupted.

How you have fallen from heaven O morning star, son of the dawn…but you are brought down to the grave.

How you have fallen from heaven O star of the morning, son of the dawn…you will be thrust down to Sheol.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O day-star, son of the morning…Yet thou shalt be brought down to Sheol.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!...Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell. Isaiah 14:12,15

Twentieth century versions have removed the name Lucifer, thereby eliminating the only reference to him in the entire bible. The name Lucifer now appears like a myth and ceases to be an identifiable character of biblical origin. He is thereby divorced from the truth concerning him. In John 8:44 Jesus said, “The devil…is a liar, and the father of it.” He can now have whatever characteristics he desires and he is basking in it for most Christian people have chosen to remain ignorant about it. Ignorance of the scriptures is worse than the worst plague that has ever dealt with man.

We continue with:

Bible Question #3: What was Jesus’ purpose in coming to the earth?

Check out Matthew. 18:11. You may have a hard time finding this verse. In many new, ‘modern’, versions this verse is missing! The verses are numbered 10 then 12, 13, 14! Or you may find verse 11 is in brackets, casting doubt as to whether it was actually in the original script.

Let’s see what the Authorized King James says:

For the Son of man is come TO SAVE THAT WHICH WAS LOST.”

This one verse which summarizes Jesus’ entire mission to earth is either ignored in the ‘new’ versions; or it is put in brackets casting doubt on it! The fact is this verse contains a KEY piece of Christian doctrine.

People need to know they are lost, i.e. that they have a problem, to know they need a savior.

Bible Question #4: Noah was a great man used by God to build the Ark. To be called for such a task required Noah to be approved by the Lord God. So, how was Noah ‘justified’ before God? Was Noah’s justification by his own works?

For the answer let’s see Genesis 6:8. In a ‘modern version’ it says something like: “Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.”

Favor implies that Noah was ‘better‘ than others. Favor implies Noah was approved by God because of his own “good works”.

Now compare that to the KJV. It says:

Noah found GRACE in the eyes of the Lord“. Even though Noah was used of God, he was also in need of grace (just like all of us). Noah was NOT justified by his good works, but by God’s grace.

Verse 9: says “…Noah walked with God…” Notice that Noah’s walk with God occurs, in verse 9, AFTER Noah received grace from God, in verse 8. Grace precedes our walk with God. We are NOT justified (NOR saved) by our own works. Ephesians 2:8 tells us “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” Remember, Noah got drunk on an occasion Genesis 9:21. He was in need of God’s amazing grace just like we do today.

The consistent theme of the Bible is that we are saved by God’s grace and NOT by our own works. Grace and favor have two totally, different, meanings.

The Authorized King James Bible is consistent with the Bible’s teachings. These ‘modern versions’ are not.

Bible Question #5: Why did Jesus Christ go to the cross?

Let’s look at 2 verses of scripture. 1st Peter 4:1. In a ‘modern’ version it says: “…Christ suffered …”

In the Authorized King James Bible the full reading is quoted as: “… Christ suffered FOR US.”

Notice the last two words give the FULL meaning. Leaving out “for us” misses the point entirely!

This is confirmed again in 1 Corinthians. 5:7b. In many ‘new’ versions it says: “For Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed.”

Again, the full reading is found in the King James Bible. It says: “For even Christ our passover is sacrificed FOR US.”

Bible Question #6: How did Jesus’ going to the cross bring our redemption?

A ‘modern’ version will NOT tell you how! Colossians 1:14 says of Jesus “in whom we have redemption …”

The full Christian doctrine is only included in The King James reading of the same verse. Properly stated, it says (of Jesus):

In whom we have redemption THROUGH HIS BLOOD …”

Hebrews 9:22 tells us “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission”. Leaving out “the blood” misses a key point of doctrine and leaves us in our sins.

Let me remind you again that the reason I picked out these scriptures is because they affect the basic fundamentals and doctrines of our faith. The subtle but effective attack is targeted at the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is to discredit, render it null and void and create a mythical atmosphere where the generation next will end up a confused lot then discard the whole idea of worship to the God of creation.

But you and I know that “He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.” Psalm 2:4

We continue this week with more revelations on just how subtly Satan’s people have systematically and deliberately messed up some translations of the Bible in the name of making them more understandable to the reader. Now, the next question.

Bible Question #7: Who does Jesus “call” and what does he “call” them to do?

A ‘modern’ version in Matthew 9:13b. Says something like: “For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners”.

Notice how the end of this verse begs the question: “… call the righteous, but sinners…” TO WHAT? Turn to the same verse in the King James Bible:

“… for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners TO REPENTANCE“.

Those last 2 words are crucial! Hell will get all the sinners who don’t repent. Jesus will get all the sinners who DO repent and receive Him as Lord and Savior. There is a big difference in those two eternal outcomes. And, there is a big difference in these two translations.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23 Therefore we must all repent and receive Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior to be saved.

Bible Question #8: What happens to those who do not receive the testimony of Jesus Christ and accept Him as Lord and Savior?

In many ‘modern’ versions you won’t find out! This is because part of the verse is missing in Mark 6:11. A ‘modern’ version reads something like:

“… shake the dust off your feet when you leave, as a testimony against them.”

However, the King James gives the full teaching:

“… shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. VERILY I SAY UNTO YOU, IT SHALL BE MORE TOLERABLE FOR SODOM AND GOMORRHA IN THE DAY OF JUDGMENT, THAN FOR THAT CITY”.

You will agree with me that this verse contains important information we need to know!

Bible Question #9: After we repent and receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and are born again (come to the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ), what else does He command us to do?

There are many changes that come in our new birth/in our new nature, but the answer I’m looking for is this: We are to make a public profession of faith. Then we are to be baptized, by immersion, in water.

Let’s look in Acts 8:35-37. In Acts 8:35 Philip, the Apostle, preached Jesus Christ to the eunuch. In verse 36 the eunuch realized his need to be baptized. The eunuch then asks if he can be baptized.

Now, take a look at Acts 8:37 in a ‘modern’ version of the Bible. Many (but not all) ‘modern’ versions go from Acts chapter 8 verse 35, to verse 36, then to 38. 38?! Where is verse 37 you ask? And, what did verse 37 say?

This key verse, properly included in the King James Bible, tells us whom should be baptized. It says:

Numbering verses 35, 36, and then 38 is NOT a new and impossible math is it?

These ‘modern’ versions, which leave out verse 37, are omitting the deity of Jesus Christ. Also, they are missing the key point: We must make a PUBLIC profession of faith. We must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. If we do not know, believe, and confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, our baptism only ‘gets us wet’. Leaving out verse 37 omits a major portion of Christian doctrine.

Omissions of doctrine and corruptions of doctrine are bad news. In both cases, the reader is NOT getting the correct information he/she needs to know.

Bible Question #10: Can you recite the Lord’s Prayer?

What about The Lord’s Prayer recorded in Luke 11:2-4? The KJV, is as follows:

“… Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.”

Now turn to Luke 11:2-4 in a ‘modern’ version and re-read the Lord’s Prayer. The wording will be similar to:

“… Father, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, for we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation”.

Note this modern version states “Father” but then leaves out “… WHICH ART IN HEAVEN …” You don’t know who you are praying to, your Father in heaven, or to Satan!

It also leaves out “o-u-r” as in OUR father. We were created by God who is “OUR” father. Satan is a father, but he is not “OUR” father. Satan is the “father” of lies. John 8:44

And this ‘modern’ version leaves out “THY WILL BE DONE, AS IN HEAVEN, SO IN EARTH“. By leaving out the fact that we are praying to our Father WHOSE WILL IS DONE IN HEAVEN, this ‘modern’ version is re-directing your prayer away from God and toward someone or something else in another place.

Lastly, there is a major omission in the last half of verse 4. Verse 4 states: “And lead us not into temptation”. But this verse then leaves out: “… BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL …”

Personally, I want to be delivered from evil! How about you?

I believe you will agree: This ‘modern version’ is NOT the “Lord’s Prayer” you want to be praying! Think about it.

Bible Question #11: What does the Bible say is the test for the antichrist?

Let’s turn to 1st John 4:3 . A ‘modern’ version says:

“and every spirit which does not confess Jesus is not of God. This is the spirit of antichrist, of which you heard that it was coming, and now it is in the world already.”

Again, in ‘modern’ versions, key pieces of scripture are left out. Compare this same verse with the FULL reading in the King James. In the KJV it says:

And every spirit that confesseth not that JESUS CHRIST IS COME IN THE FLESH is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

Remember, evil spirits did confess Jesus. In Luke 4:34 and in Mark 1:24 a man having a “spirit of an unclean devil” said to Jesus:

“… Let [us] alone; what have we to do with thee, [thou] JESUS of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.”

Contrary to what ‘modern’ versions would tell you, the antichrist DOES KNOW who Jesus is. But, what the antichrist CAN NOT say is that: “JESUS CHRIST IS COME IN THE FLESH“.

Modern versions not only need to get their gospel straight; they also need to correctly quote the true test for the antichrist.

Also, take a look at this: Compare 1st John 4:3 again between a ‘modern’ version and the King James Bible. Look one more time at what the ‘new’ version says:

“… which does not confess Jesus is …”

But, in the King James it says:

“… that confesseth not that Jesus CHRIST is …”

Besides the doctrinal error, these ‘modern’ versions continually assault the Lordship and Deity of Jesus Christ. If the King James says: “Jesus Christ”, many times the modern versions will only say: “Jesus”. If the King James says: “Lord Jesus Christ” many times the ‘modern’ versions will only say: “Lord” or will only say: “Jesus”. Which Jesus? There are many Jesuses in the world but only one bona fide savior of the world. The one who was, who is and who is to come. The PANTOCRATOR (Almighty God) His name is Jesus the Christ

My point is, if you must read these other translations (I don’t see why though) make the Authorized King James Bible your final arbiter, that way you just can’t miss it.

I had put an end to this topic but had to just add this last bit I find very interesting. A brother and a very close friend of mine who is the pastor of a local assembly in a town in South Carolina sent me a link with this devil’s madness. So, I decided to let you have a glimpse into the mess of NIV but if you want the whole thing just go to this link

Remember like I told you earlier, the main target is the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, to discredit it.

By the changing of one word a verse can be rendered ineffective in declaring the deity of Christ.

1 Timothy. 3:16

(KJV)   “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”

(NIV)   “Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared (who is he that appeared?)  in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit…”

Philippians 2:5-6

(KJV)   “…Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God

(NIV)   “…Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped

Revelation 1:8-13

(KJV)   “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. {9} I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. {10} I…heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, {11} Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book….” {12} And I turned to see…And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; {13} And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man…

(NIV)   “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” {9} I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. {10} ….I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, {11} which said: “Write on a scroll what you see….” {12} I turned around to see …And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, {13} and among the lampstands was someone “like a son of man….”

1 John 5:7-8

(KJV)   “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, (that is Christ) and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. {8} And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.”

(NIV)   “For there are three that testify: (all the others are lost) {8} the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.”

Jude 25

(KJV)   “To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and for ever. Amen.”

Notice the additional words that are added in the NIV. These are underlined

(NIV)   “to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, [through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages], now and forevermore! Amen.”

Acts 15:18

(KJV)   “Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.

(NIV)   “that have been known for ages.” (This is the entire verse)

Romans 14:10-12

(KJV)   “…for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. {11} For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. {12} So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

(NIV)   “…For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. {11} It is written: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.'” {12} So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.

Revelation 20:12

(KJV)   “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God….

(NIV)   “And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne” Whose throne?

Hebrews 10:30

(KJV)   “…Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord….”

(NIV)   “…It is mine to avenge; I will repay…”

Revelation 14:5

(KJV)   “And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.”

(NIV)   “No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.”

Like I told you earlier, if you want the full doze just check out the link I told you my pastor friend sent me here

In conclusion, I will only advice, I cannot force anything down on you. Make The King James Version of the Bible your main study book. Even if you need the others, make sure your final arbiter is The Authorized King James Version of the Bible.

In addition, let me encourage you to “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41

God bless you
